The Ritz Carlton Toronto

We had an incredible stay for my birthday weekend. Our corner suite was spacious, comfortable, and blissfully quiet—perfect for unwinding. Our suite included access to the Club Lounge, which quickly became our favourite spot to relax. The food offerings throughout the day were outstanding, and we enjoyed fantastic wine and cocktails whenever we liked. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—especially Olga in the Club Lounge. Her warm smile and radiant energy each evening were unforgettable, and we’ll genuinely miss her. Even knowing we were at a five-star hotel and fully aware of the cost, we were still blown away by the level of service and the way we were cared for from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to the next time we can treat ourselves to another visit.

Exceptional Service and Prime Location — A Few Room Quirks, But Still Worth It I recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto and had a memorable experience—mostly thanks to the outstanding service, especially from the Club Lounge team and front desk staff. The hotel’s downtown location is unbeatable and makes exploring Toronto very convenient (plus, it’s just a short walk from the UP Express train from the airport!). Upon arrival, I had an issue with my reservation (entirely my fault), but the front desk associate was kind, professional, and helped me get everything sorted out smoothly. Once checked in, I did notice a few issues with the room’s cleanliness and some rips in the sheets. I brought this up the next morning, and the front desk manager could not have been more apologetic or accommodating. He went above and beyond and upgraded us to a beautiful suite on the top floor with Club Lounge access to make up for the inconvenience—truly excellent service. We upgraded our stay to include Club Lounge access, and I highly recommend it. While we don’t drink, the overall value of the lounge is fantastic—the food offerings were fresh and varied, and the service was impeccable. The team even noted my allergies and made sure I had safe, delicious options at each meal. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym and a full-service spa. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay, but I’d definitely come back when it reopens. One area for improvement: the rooms could use a refresh. The TV was a bit outdated, and there were a few signs of wear and tear throughout the space—nothing major, but noticeable at this level of hotel. Overall, I would absolutely return to The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto—especially to celebrate a special occasion. The staff make you feel valued, and the service truly reflects the Ritz-Carlton name.

Great location to access all the city has to offer. Impeccable service from a variety of staff that made our stay stress-free and relaxing. I would suggest upon an early arrival to go to the patio bar. Order a wood-fired pizza and a cocktail while you wait for your room keys. Thanks to Chad for taking care of us at the patio bar!! Great view of the CN Tower too.
