Myself and my Husband have attended to enjoy an afternoon tea at The Ritz. From being greeted out of the taxi by the doormen, to the concierge team inside who showed us to our table. It was a 5 star service. Our waiter Luigi was exceptional. The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and delicious. The decor and ambience inside are beautiful. We are looking forward to returning for another treat. Highly recommend.
I can’t comment on the rooms, as I didn’t stay, but I came for afternoon tea and all I can say is wow, wow, wow. Value for money first of all, you pay £81 pp for afternoon tea, and they replenish the sandwiches & cakes as many times as you like pretty much. They will bring you more & more for no extra cost. And the quality of the food, WOW. We left feeling extremely full and satisfied. The service is better than any service I’ve ever had in my life. It’s so classy and respectful and just everything you want from customer service. The staff are amazing, so kind and welcoming, and very well presented. Extremely impressive. The building itself just speaks for itself. It’s beyond beautiful. I can’t praise this iconic hotel enough, it was my first visit and I was lost for words. I cannot wait to return in future. What an incredible experience.
The Ritz London, located in the heart of Piccadilly, Mayfair, is an unforgettable destination for anyone who appreciates timeless elegance, refined hospitality, and classic British luxury. As a first-time visitor, I was genuinely mesmerized by the grandeur of this legendary hotel. From the moment I walked through the iconic revolving doors, I knew I was stepping into a world where tradition, style, and service go hand in hand. The interiors of The Ritz are simply stunning. Every room and hallway is designed with exquisite attention to detail, from the gold-gilded ceilings and sparkling chandeliers to the antique furnishings and plush carpets. The entire space exudes old-world charm without feeling outdated. It’s like being transported back to a royal era where elegance reigned supreme. One of the absolute highlights of my visit was the world-famous afternoon tea in The Palm Court. This experience alone is worth the visit. The setting is breathtaking with live classical music in the background, and the selection of teas, sandwiches, scones, and delicate pastries was both beautifully presented and delicious. The service throughout was polished, friendly, and truly attentive without being overbearing. The hotel’s Michelin-starred dining is also a standout. I had the chance to dine at The Ritz Restaurant, and the meal was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors, presentation, and ambiance were all aligned with the highest standards. It’s clear that every dish is crafted with both tradition and innovation in mind. The suites are nothing less than regal. I stayed in one of the Junior Suites, and the experience was luxurious from beginning to end. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were of the finest quality, and the marble bathroom was immaculate and well-stocked with premium amenities. Everything felt tailored to provide an unforgettable stay. What truly impressed me, though, was the impeccable service throughout the hotel. Every staff member I interacted with carried themselves with professionalism, warmth, and grace. They made me feel welcome and valued, whether I was at reception, in the restaurant, or simply passing through the lobby. The Ritz London is more than just a hotel. It is a symbol of refined living and excellence. Whether you're a guest or just visiting for tea or dinner, the experience is nothing short of magical. I left feeling inspired, pampered, and eager to return. If you’re visiting London and want to immerse yourself in a world of classic British sophistication, The Ritz should be at the very top of your list.
