The Riverwood Forest Retreat Dooars

A haven of peace and tranquility. We loved our stay here. The room was spacious, airy, clean and the balcony overlooked the beautiful garden. The manager was super kind and helpful as was the assistant manager Raoul. They both went far out of their way to help us plan the next part of our trip. Outstanding service and friendliness. Thank you. The food was excellent although unfortunately we didn't order many local dishes due to being a little unwell. But the food service was excellent, everything freshly cooked to order and served with a smile. The head chef was very kind and friendly. The pool was clean and inviting. The pool attendant was unobtrusive but vigilant and the whole area around the pool was clean and free of litter. The garden - and the butterfly garden - were a joy to walk around and explore. If ever we are over your way again we will stay here without hesitation. Everything was excellent and very relaxing. Thank you Mr Birtender and Raoul.

Amazing place in the midst of forest and on the banks of a river. Amazing behaviour and great service by the Manager Mr. Birendra and his service personnel. We booked Premium Room no. 104, which was excellent with all modern amenities and very close to swimming pool, Bar and Dining Hall. This amazing place has absolute silence and has feeling of tranquility. From morning to evening we experienced chirping of birds only. They have an amazing Bar beside the swimming pool. Dining hall is large and serves freshly cooked pre ordered amazing tasty food.

It was such a pleasant stay with great hospitality, decent food . The property is so beautiful and the staff took really good care of us. Specially want to mention Rahul for his courtesy and help
