The Roker Hotel BW Premier Collection

Absolutely amazing stay in room 145! Spotlessly clean, spacious room with a huge, super comfortable bed and six fluffy pillows. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. Breathtaking sea view, and watching the sunrise from the window was unforgettable. The food was fresh and delicious every single time. Incredibly quiet – even on a Friday night, which is rare for hotels. Truly one of the most peaceful and relaxing stays we've ever had. Highly recommended!

Spur of the moment decision to have a night out, reception staff were well organised and informative, had a great 3 course meal and a few drinks, bar staff were welcoming and professional. Bath room was a little tired looking but was clean as was the room.

The staff were fantastic, friendly and professional. The hotel, that’s another level. We were in the peel room which was one of their ‘executive double’ rooms. It was awful on pretty much every level. It is so tired and worn, every piece of furniture is damaged, the carpet is dirty and very worn, the bed was uncomfortable with protruding mattress springs, the decor was fashionable 15 years ago and the tv was ancient. In fact, the tv pat test label expired in 2014. The heat was horrendous, both windows were fully open all night and we had a fan on full speed to try and combat it, the thermostat on the radiator was broken so we couldn’t turn it off. Add to all that, there was a very strange smell, like a deep heat sort of smell. I could go on but for us, the only positive we have taken away with us is the staff were great.
