We had a pleasant stay from July 14 to July 16. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Katie at the front desk was sweet, courteous, and very helpful. Her warm smile showed that she was truly compassionate about her job, and it made us feel genuinely welcomed. We arrived early and simply asked if we could leave our bags while we explored the city until check-in time. To our surprise, Katie went above and beyond—she was able to get us a room right away so my son could rest. After I expressed how grateful I was, she brought out a teddy bear for him. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Thank you, Katie, for making our stay extra special! One small issue we encountered was with the digital key in the Hilton Honors app—it didn’t work for pool access. We had to return to the front desk, but the receptionist quickly resolved it by providing a physical key card. It was a minor inconvenience, but handled efficiently.
Beautifully appointed hotel in the French Quarter of NOLA. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially at the pool. Awesome service staff at the pool bar thanks to Coco and her team! Made us feel right at home from day one. Thank you for a super relaxing enjoyable vacation. 😊😊. Hope to see you all again!
I recently had the opportunity to travel as part of a mentor group, and we stayed at your hotel. Overall, the experience was exquisite for myself, my daughter, and the remarkable group of young men we were honored to accompany. The accommodations and amenities lived up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from the Hilton brand, and we truly appreciated the atmosphere and offerings. However, I am compelled to share the reason behind my low rating. Unfortunately, our check-in experience was far from what I’ve grown accustomed to as a seasoned traveler—and as someone who has regularly chosen Hilton for both personal and professional stays. The check-in process was unexpectedly tedious, confusing, and ultimately disheartening. Despite being a group booking, which should have streamlined the check-in process, it instead felt prolonged and unnecessarily complicated. After reflecting on the experience, I can’t help but feel that our group may have been met with unfair assumptions and subjected to stereotyping or racial profiling. While the representative assisting us attempted to present the delay as standard protocol, the inconsistencies in treatment and tone raised genuine concerns. It is incredibly disheartening to feel as though our presence may have been perceived as out of place in such a reputable establishment. Traveling with young people, especially in a mentoring capacity, I had hoped for an experience that was not only welcoming, but one that affirmed their value and right to be in spaces of excellence. I share this feedback not out of anger, but out of hope that no future guest, regardless of race, age, or group affiliation; feels the way we felt in that moment. Hilton has always represented inclusion and high standards to me, and I believe in the power of feedback to improve and uphold that mission.
