The Roundhouse

We have just returned from our first visit to Weymouth for our honeymoon. We were recommended to stay here by a friend and we were not disappointed! Lisa gave us a lovely warm welcome and showed us to our room. We stayed in room 1 with the stunning bay window overlooking the beach. The breakfast was amazing and the cherry trifle on arrival was an extra special treat. The beach towels was a lovely touch so we could go for early morning dip before breakfast. We can’t fault our stay and can’t wait to come back again next year for our first anniversary. Thank you for a perfect couple of days to finish our celebrations off.

Another great week at the Roundhouse, Weymouth. Keith and Lisa are lovely hosts. The room was spotless and big. It had 2 aspects. One overlooking the beautiful beach and one overlooking the harbour. Very comfortable bed fridge and large t.v. with Netflix thrown in for good measure. Breakfast is delivered in a basket every morning and is always different. From sold meats and cheeses to eggs benedict! My favourite was the sausage patty served on a portion of bubble and squeak and topped with melted cheese.😊. Also, plenty of homemade bread and preserves. Freshly squeezed fruit juices and lots of other bits and pieces. The beach is literally over the road and the harbour area is round the corner. Lots of good places to eat and Lisa and Keith can provide money off vouchers to some of them. Parking as usual was difficult, but not that difficult that we we've booked again for next year. This is a great place to stay the views from the rooms of the harbour and the beach stunning. The rooms have everything you need big comfy bed tea and coffee tv with Netflix .
