I would be excited to stay here again! The location is absolutely wonderful. Removed from downtown just enough to be quieter and more relaxed, but still right by the metro to get there fast! Plenty of restaurants and shopping/activity options within walking distance. Beautiful waterfront. The rooms and interior of the hotel are modern, clean, and well designed. The shower is amazing! One of the best hotel gyms I've seen (and that's a lot and I'm picky). Only two notes would be that the 'pantry' that has complimentary snacks for breakfast was almost out of completely out each time I stopped by. The hotel breakfast that you can pay for was not so good. We waited forever... Very slow service. And the food is expensive and below average. The hotel bar is nice and the drinks were great! However, they were out of a lot of ingredients for their own special cocktail menu options which was odd.
Love this hotel. Stayed here for 8 nights last year and the same this year. We were greeted back with welcoming smiles by the lovely Anny and Lynn who even remembered us from last year. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are cleaned perfectly every day (and that’s coming from someone with OCD!!). Karla did an amazing job cleaning our room to perfection. But all of the staff clean the rooms beautifully. The room is spacious and the showers are great. The doors are a bit heavy though so if people let their doors slam late at night it can be a bit loud. We love the location there are so many nice shops and places to eat. The Italian restaurant right next door has lovely pasta and pizzas. You certainly won’t be bored stayed here. The manager Christopher is always happy, very welcoming and friendly and Anny, Rose and Lynn will go above and beyond to welcome you with a smile, help you where needed, provide bottles of free water and assist with where you need to go (and even listen to your stories of your days events!!). Lynn even gave my kids gorgeous soft toys which made their day! And Anny always makes a fuss of my kids talking to them about their day. She is a very sweet and kind lady. I like the complimentary pantry on the second floor so I can get my little one her bedtime milk (and a cheeky coffee for me!). The Charlie passes were great for our day trips (last year we spent so many $$$ and lots of wasted time sitting in traffic in Ubers). The train system is really good, efficient, easy to navigate and quick! If you are looking for an afternoon out check out Salem (it’s a very cool and quirky town as long as witchcraft doesn’t freak you out!). We didn’t have the breakfast as we preferred to go out. Tatte is a gorgeous cafe with amazing cakes and pantries (ask for your coffee hot though). However every day it’s crazy busy in there and pretty hectic . So once we found Juicy Greens (right next to the train station) that was our regular breakfast spot (they have really good Colombian coffee, smoothies, açaí bowls and plenty more). Staff are friendly and the place is much more quiet and chilled. You won’t be disappointed. Activities we enjoyed most in Boston was a guided tour around Harvard university, city bus tour, duck tour, panIQ escape room, aquarium, Boston tea party. Honestly I can’t say enough about this hotel, we are so happy we came back. Originally we were staying at the Marriot in Portland Maine, it was such a disappointment due to the poor customer service, bad restaurant and unpleasant location that we cut our trip short and headed back to The Row. It certainly did not disappoint. Staying here made our trip!!
The Row Hotel in Boston offers a near-perfect blend of modern luxury, historical charm, and convenience, making it a top-tier choice for travelers. Located in the heart of Assembly Row, this stylish hotel places you steps away from shopping, dining, and entertainment, while still providing a peaceful atmosphere to unwind. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with upscale finishes and comfortable beds that ensure a restful night. The staff is friendly, professional, and always willing to help, adding a personal touch to the experience. The on-site amenities like the well-equipped fitness center, indoor pool, and chic lobby area elevate the stay even further. A standout feature is the hotel’s sleek and modern aesthetic that still manages to pay homage to the area’s industrial past, making it feel both trendy and rooted in Boston’s culture. The bar and restaurant on-site offer tasty, well-prepared dishes, though the menu could benefit from a bit more variety. Parking is available, though it can be a bit pricey. Overall, The Row delivers a high-quality stay with just a few minor areas for improvement, easily earning a strong four-star review. It’s a great pick for business travelers, couples, or families visiting Boston.
