The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa

We just returned from a short stay at the Royal Crescent Hotel on 21 June. The setting is spectacular— overlooking Bath city centre in one of the most iconic set of Georgian buildings in the world. Our room (Room 55) was lovely. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom large and luxurious. Every detail in the room — from the furnishings to the upmarket toiletries courtesy of “Jo Loves” — felt very well curated. The service was very good. The staff were warm, professional, and welcoming. We took time to unwind in the spa —we especially enjoyed the pool and steam room. I’ll definitely be back. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for something truly special in Bath.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Bath. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The hotel itself is full of charm and offers some great facilities, including a peaceful garden and a relaxing spa, which really added to the experience. Breakfast was also a highlight — fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome. If you’re looking for a place to unwind in Bath with great amenities and a warm atmosphere, this hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Arguably, the best hotel in the south west. We visited for a 40th birthday treat for my partner, and indulged with the taster menu, spa treatments and afternoon tea. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite, and were very well looked after. All of the staff were friendly, kind, and looked after us very well - we were treated like royalty! The garden was simply stunning, and we will visit again. The best surprise, was the resident cat - Alfie. Met him on arrival and heard his story. As cat parents, we knew immediately we'd be happy here! 10/10 would recommend.
