The Royal Fischer Hotel

We were received with such grace and hospitality. Arriving late we were offered in-room dining and a glass of wine. Served perfectly and delicious. Waking to the view and bird song accompanied by a delicious latte served in our room. Thank you to Johannes who made it even more special.

We hosted a Dinner last night for one of our clients. From the very first moment to booking the venue with Elsie she is absolutely the best. I could not have done this without her. Elsie went beyond what was expected from her. We would highly recommend this venue anytime. Looking forward to doing business with them again. The client was very happy. Thank you Elsie.

It's an absolute travesty that this place holds itself out to be a 5 star hotel. It really isn't. It's shortcomings are too numerous, so I'll summarise: On the plus side the setting is tranquil and the food is decent. That's about the only positives. The rooms are dusty, the main dining area is just revolting. Old and shabby with rotting animals on the wall. My bath leaked, the shower sprayed in every direction, there were open cans in my mini bar. At the prices this place charges, it's completely unacceptable. They have no facilities where you can work (contrary to what they advertise) Overall it was an unpleasant stay, I would not return there and would not recommend.
