Great Hospitality going above and beyond to look after us. Beds were comfortable and rooms super clean. Breakfast was delicious. Many thanks for a great stay 😀
We had a lovely nights stay here, so peaceful with lovely size room and lovely ensuite, with on site car parking and wifi all the things we look for when we stay anywhere. evening meal was good (it was a Thai night! so a little different but still nice ) breakfast was very good. we were made to feel very welcome too.
The pub is absolutely beautiful, authentic and well kept. Food was perfectly presented and was really good. We had the duck pate’ which was perfect however the 8 ounce steak was quite average and rather pricey at £30. Our son enjoyed his pizza although he did find the base rather tough and chewy. We were there to enjoy our evening being visitors to the area and it was pleasant. We found the lovely landlady to be a little officious and lacking in the real welcoming spirit. The gentleman helping with serving spoke too much to customers boring their ears off. All the ingredients are there and if the constructive criticism is taken to heart this would be a five star establishment all day long, they are almost there.
