Good place to stay before visiting Powis Castle. I liked the old fashioned pictures and furnishings. My small double room was nicely decorated, with a good size bathroom. Not sure about the portraits of sheep? Breakfast was good, served by competent staff in the large quiet lounge.
Rooms very well maintained and furnishings are very tasteful. All staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed having both evening meal and breakfast here. Not an extensive menu nevertheless most tastes catered for. Dog friendly too, equally those who want to avoid dogs are able to.
Very impressed. Very friendly, lovely room - especially appreciated Radio 3 playing in the room - really nice touch. Little outside area for an evening beer was very pleasant. Great menu - allergy and calorie info for every dish and it was very tasty. Delicious breakfast - best vegan sausage. Strongly recommend.
