Overall very pleasant experience, highly recommend to stay here Rooms 8/10 room is a little small, but nevertheless it has everything you needed, bath hub is huge! Beds are comfy Breakfast 9/10 This is one big highlight, even though variety of dishes is not a lot, but it was plenty enough to satisfy me. All that were served taste great! Location 9/10 It is not right next to the station, but it’s close enough of a walk(400m), plenty of shops and restaurants around Service 10/10 Japanese service, nothing to complain about
The room is reasonably nice, with a big bathtub and decent shower space. Service is great, we stayed for four nights with breakfast included. And we were told that the breakfast and beer changed to lunch instead, so we tried their lunch on our last day. And it was surprisingly good, with many selections and tasty food, not to mention it was so popular that even the locals were there for the lunch course. The hotel location is great, between the Hakata station and Kushida-jinja Shrine station. The staff was attentive and very welcoming, I would recommend it. One thing I might complain about is the air condition seems a bit on and off, sometimes it doesn’t work as we want.
Many thanks to the staff for setting up the bed guard and extra towels before we even enter the room. Check-in process was smooth and every staff we encountered was kind and professional. Rooms are beginning to show their age but they’re large and clean. Shower/tub area is separated from the sink and toilet which was nice. They also replenish bath salts daily. We stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping on the first day was a miss- water and an extra set of towels did not get replaced. The staff who cleaned the following days did a much better job. The location is decent- just a short 6min walk to Hakata Station and there’s a Lawsons right across the street. Canal City is within easy walkable distance too. We tried breakfast on one day and they had a nice selection, including lots of veggies. We’ll be back in Fukuoka again in December and would like to stay here again but unfortunately it doesn’t look like bookings are open yet 9 months out.
