We used Chase Park Plaza for our welcome drinks the night before our wedding, Sunday Brunch the day after our wedding, and also reserved a block of rooms here for our entire wedding weekend. The spaces were beautiful and were perfect venues for the occasion. The location of the hotel was central to our ceremony and reception and provided great ambiance. The staff was friendly, but sometimes difficult to communicate with as there were many employees who were assigned to our event that worked off-site and were not always readily available or qualified to make some final decisions. We had plenty of space in the bridal and groomsmen suite for getting ready and used many of the areas around the hotel to take photos! Overall, we would recommend the Chase for accommodations as the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable.
Leaving 4 stars for the following two reasons. 1. The "high room" add-on only gets you on the fourth floor at the highest (that's all the higher the hotel actually goes). I feel like this is misleading when they show a picture of a high-rise building on the website, and the $40 fee is per night, not a one-time fee, which isn't stated on the website. 2. The parking is $40/night for self-park, or $50/night for valet. These prices aren't unfair by any means given the location, but they're not posted anywhere on the website which I don't like. Other than those two things, the hotel is in a nice location, very clean, quiet, and has a good pool and selection of restaurants. Update: Editing to 5 stars due to them refunding me for the high-room fee. Although these fees were charged on my bill when I checked out, they've been refunded (either due to an error in billing or because I mentioned being unsatisfied on this review). Either way, they stood behind their service which I'm very happy about.
This may be my favorite property in St. Louis! Clean, spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise. Outstanding, full-size gym. And the best part is the cinema within the hotel!
