I stayed at this hotel during a convention last week. I had a broken arm and so when I would go to the lunch buffet that was part of the convention, it would have been very difficult to serve myself. Luckily, every day I was there, Carl, the director of outlet ops, and Amanda in the restaurant, would go through the buffet with me and load up my plate with what I wanted. They made sure I had plenty of food! It made me feel very cared about as a person, more than just a sale for lunch. It was much appreciated, and the food was delicious!

Hotel is definitely old and dated and the rooms need some work. The check in was smooth and seamless with great customer service. However, I noticed some additional charges that I shouldn’t have incurred. When I called they asked if I parked a vehicle which I made clear I didn’t when I got there but they still charged me for parking. They refunded that but also mentioned I had a “traveler” fee of $25 a day which was not mentioned until after check out. Would never stay again, there are other hotels around.

The prices of things here were cheap. The parking and the hotel price was the only that was expensive. It’s $34 for overnight parking. The room needs new air vents. I know so many people who got sick from being at this hotel this past week. There was two occasions where I was shower big that it felt like pepper was going up my nose. I had multiple sneeze attacks in the 30 minutes I was in the shower. Meaning the water was not filtered. You only have three options of shower water warmth, which is boiling, hot or cold water. The lighting in the rooms were bad. I suggest changing from a Yello light to a clear white light. Room service is based on a request basis. Meaning you’ll need to call before 1pm everyday if you want room service to come. There was one day where I woke up with my eye completely red from I don’t know what so that was pretty concerning. Overall I came into the hotel filled with life and left with a red eye, sore throat, and a tight chest. I know many others who left with the same thing and even with a cough, headache and runny nose.
