I Had an amazing stay with family! Stayed 4 nights, 2 conjoining rooms. When we checked in Ray at the front desk was an absolute sweetheart about assisting us with early check-in. Service was great the entire stay and ALL staff we encountered were super kind and helpful! Ben the bellman gets extra points for being so nice and helpful with getting all of our luggage to our rooms. Rooms are big & spacious, beds were comfortable. The weather was very hot during our stay, the front desk kindly handed out cold bottled water each time we asked. Great location, pretty much central to everything! Easy and safe walk to restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife and metro & kid friendly. Would Absolutley stay again!

I'll say the service at the front desk was good--quick check in, friendly receptionists. They also provide plenty of water if you ask, but for the price ($300/night), I wouldn't recommend this hotel. - The room we were in didn't allow for open windows, so when we entered, we were met with a musty smell from the carpet. - We also had housekeeping come in after about 3 days to freshen up and they did not switch out one of the bed sheets that had a stain on it. - When we complained about this to the front desk, they sent someone to deliver sheets but the gentleman just put them on the trolley and didn't have the decency to hand them to me, he just stared back at me until I picked them up but didn't tell me which ones were mine so I handled someone else's. - When I asked the gentleman for more pillowcases, he didn't have the decency to hand me the pillowcases either. He just knocked and set them on the floor in front of the door, even though he was still standing by the door, waiting for the elevator. Why would I want to use pillow cases that have been on the dirty ground where the bottoms of our feet have been? And how hard is it to just wait a few seconds to hand over some pillow cases, especially if you're not going anywhere? - We also found ourselves getting small bites on our ankles every morning, so we suspect there were some kind of bugs in the room - One of the 3 elevators wasn't working the entire time and given the elevators are very small & this is a busy hotel, it was a bit of a hassle. I saw many people decide to take the stairs instead of waiting for the elevators, including myself. - Overall, the hotel looks like it definitely needs some renovations and freshening up because everything looks very tired. For $300/night, I've stayed at much better hotels, even in DC. I only chose this hotel because I needed a disability room.

I would personally not stay here again. The surfaces in the room were not clean and sticky. It seemed as they were in the middle of painting the room as there was a paint smell and the room was half painted. The only nice thing was the location and the bed was clean. But definitely not a 4 star hotel.
