Very much enjoyed our stay here. The staff were excellent throughout. The deluxe rooms were very smart and comfortable. Enjoyed the food in both restaurants with the market kitchen breakfast being excellent. The swimming pool, steam room and Spa were really enjoyable. Loved it. Definately worth a stay.
Nice hotel but limited for anyone disabled needing wheelchair or scooter. My wife required an accessible room which was OK, but, we thought the room was dark, poor lighting, and very hot with no heating controls (that we could find). The room was quite a long way from the lift. The one lift behind Reception was tiny, we struggled to get in with the wheelchair, barely room for two people. I asked if there was another lift, there was a slightly bigger lift which took us to a different part of the hotel and we were given special permission to access our room/corridor through a staff only corridor. We were not impressed with the meal arrangement in the Market Kitchen Restaurant, got changed to the Brasserie 32 Restaurant but not impressed with the choice of main meal menu which was the same both nights we were there. Food was OK but not exceptional. Got to compliment the staff, all very friendly and helpful and did what they could to support my wife's needs. I thought there should be more Disabled parking bays available, only 4 by the hotel entrance and a few scattered around a substantial car parking area. Note to EV Drivers, the charging points on site require you to use your own charging cable provided with your vehicle. The charging is relatively quick. The Entertainment was good, but we've experienced better at other Warner hotels with a little more going on in the daytime.
We were in a group of four adults and had a few very nice days at the Runnymede. We had booked to see the tribute band the ILLEGAL EAGLES and it was amazing... in fact the best tribute band we have seen. One word of warning if you like swimming. We were disappointed there was no easy access to the pool for someone who could not climb down the ladder access. Gradual steps are definitely required. This was a great disappointment to us. With so many patrons trying to use the very small lift there were queues all the time. If you are fit to walk up stairs you will have a great time and enjoy the lovely food. (Pity the tables were cramped).
