The Ryedale

Wonderful experience The welcome, the location, breakfast and the ongoing attention to details. In our Easter break at the Ryedale our tea, coffee, and nibbles were refreshed daily the room was refreshed daily and towels checked for replacement. The bed was comfortable the room was beautiful clean and freshly and tastefully decorated and the hosts were the best. Providing advice and uptodate knowledge on local places to go and see. Hayley & John were fantastic hosts. The location was near the Train station and the bus station was just outside the stay. The rooms were so tidy and clean. It was compact and it has been designed well with all necessary amenities. Breakfast was perfect and the hosts were very friendly. My baby especially loved the stay. It's just another home away from home.

I stayed 4 nights in spring. The single room is typical in its size for B&B in my experience. But very well thought out for its compact space with nice amenities and touches. I'm a clean freak, and it is one of the rare accommodations that passed my test. And I'm a nomad so have stayed in loads of places all over. The host is a friendly and accommodating couple, who genuinely have the guests best interest. Nice breakfast system and having access to store little items in fridge and use utensils to eat takeouts at the breakfast room is a thoughtful touch. The location is great to reach train station in 3 minutes by foot and bus stop right outside. The seafront is 10 minutes walk, as well as the old town. Highly recommend.
