Great location in the French Quarter. Green and red street cars nearby as well as easy access to a variety of restaurants and bars, Royal Street and Bourbon Street. Lobby has its own personality and a billiard table. The heavenly theme was fun. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room neat and clean with a reasonable amount of space. Gave the room a 4/5 because a) view was hotel walls around a dirty rooftop, b) low water pressure in the shower, c) loud argument in the hallway one night woke me up. Otherwise, great stay.
We came to New Orleans to celebrate my husband's birthday. Upon checking in, when they heard we were celebrating his special day, they sent a platter filled with New Orleans snacks, water, and a Happy Birthday banner. It was so kind of them to do that. The entire staff was extremely welcoming. The location is ideal...close to Bourbon Street, the Canal Streetcar system, and fabulous restaurants. We had a wonderful vacation. We would definitely return to The Saint!
Dear Marriott Customer Care, I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service my husband and I received during our recent stay at The Saint Hotel, an Autograph Collection property in New Orleans, from July 20 to July 23. My husband is a Titanium Elite member, and we’ve come to expect a certain level of courtesy and professionalism at Marriott hotels, especially at a higher-end property like this one. Unfortunately, when we requested two bottles of water from the front desk, we were met with an unnecessarily rude response from a staff member named Chloe Gonzalez. Instead of assisting us, she curtly replied, “You know you can purchase that at the little cooler.” The tone and dismissive attitude were completely uncalled for and not in line with the standard of service we’ve experienced at other Marriott properties. Offering complimentary bottled water is a common and appreciated gesture for elite members. Even if this particular hotel does not follow that practice, there are far better ways to communicate that than through condescension or attitude. We were in town for Tales of the Cocktail and chose The Saint because we trusted the Autograph brand to deliver a quality experience. This encounter, however, left a lasting negative impression. We hope you will look into this matter and ensure that your staff is trained to treat all guests—especially loyal Marriott members—with the respect and professionalism they deserve. Marriott Bonvoy # 636532517 Sincerely, Jeff O'Neil
