We had a great time staying at this resort in Galveston, Texas. The property is very well maintained, and the staff was truly amazing—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The location is perfect, right across from the beach, which made it super convenient to enjoy the ocean anytime. The restaurant and pool options were solid, with a good variety to keep both adults and kids happy. We especially appreciated the outdoor pool being open late into the night—a relaxing way to end the day under the stars. While the rooms are a bit old-fashioned in style, they were still comfortable and clean, which worked just fine for us. Also, shoutout to the maintenance team—they were quick and efficient whenever we needed anything. Overall, this resort offers great value, excellent service, and a prime location. Would definitely recommend for a laid-back beach getaway!
Very nice place to stay. The facility was clean the staff was very friendly the food was delicious and comparable in price to local restaurants. The cost for self parking seemed kind of high. The pool area was very nice kept clean the wait staff around the pool was readily available and you could order pretty much every thing on the restaurant menu at the pool. A nice place to relax. All rooms have a great view of the beach.
Nightmare of a stay. Caution to all, ask that you do not have a connecting room!!! The door between the rooms allows sound to easily pass, could hear every word of the neighboring family. 0 privacy. We were trying to go fishing in the early morning, but slept little to none with a child screaming on the hour at 1am, 2am and 3am. I let the front desk know what a terrible night we had, the office said they would make the recommendation to improve this issue on the next renovation- lol. For the price they charge would recommend going to the Hilton next door. Other than that the hotel was nice inside, the pool great, view real nice, location right across from the beach. We tried the bistro at the hotel, food was so so and expensive, would recommend leaving the hotel for food with lots of great options close by. There is also a good grocery store a few blocks away.
