The Sanderling

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful weekend getaway at your beautiful resort, and we wanted to share our experience. We were absolutely delighted with our stay! The Ocean Studio Suite was the most charming hotel room we've ever stayed in, and we were incredibly impressed with the renovations. The entire property exudes charm and comfort, making for a truly relaxing atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, where we could unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. It was also a huge plus that the beach wasn't crowded, allowing for a truly tranquil experience. Everything about our stay was perfect! We also want to commend your front desk team, especially Heather, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Their exceptional service truly added to the overall positive experience. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of dining at Vivian Howard's new restaurant, Theodosia. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the food was simply amazing! It was a highlight of our trip. We are already looking forward to returning to The Sanderling soon and staying longer. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience for us.

We recently just stayed at the Sanderling for Mothers Day weekend. We have been many times to this hotel for several years and we were very impressed with the renovations. The staff has also improved and were very pleasant and accommodating. Heather the front end manager was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and was the perfect hostess. Thank you Sanderling for making our trip extremely enjoyable. We hope to return before the end of the summer.

We were so excited to stay here and we enjoyed the beach access and the pools. The renovations to the rooms are nice. However, we could still smell smoke residue from the previously smoke-friendly atmosphere. On the website, it is listed that the resort studio included a fireplace and ours did not. Customer service was terrible all around- receptionists were not very friendly and no housekeeping (we had to ask for fresh towels). The service at the restaurant was terrible. I had high hopes but was sadly disappointed, especially for the price we paid.
