The Saracens Head Hotel

Popped in to use the WiFi and look at the menu for later on. The lad behind the bar was very friendly and instantly willing to help. The menu looked good but unfortunately the timing wasn't in our favour so we decided just to have a drink. Wish we had waited to try the food now. We ended up in the prince and the food was not to my partners standards. Next time we will definitely come here for food.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Saracens Head! The rooms were clean, crisp, and incredibly comfortable — exactly what you want after a long day exploring. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful; they really made us feel at home. The location? Stunning. Nestled in some of the most scenic countryside you’ll find in the UK, it’s the kind of place that looks like a postcard no matter the season. The weather was beautiful throughout our visit — fresh, peaceful, and perfect for walks or just soaking in the views. A true hidden gem. Already looking forward to coming back

A mixed experience. Wednesday on arrival greeted by lovely friendly bar staff and promptly served drinks and nice snacks. Returning on Saturday there was a continual queue at the bar despite the place being relatively quiet, half the menu items and half of the beers had run out, service was slow and the food dry and lacking taste. I guess it's something of a lottery which experience you get.
