My wife and I just stayed at The Scott for my high school reunion. The staff is very professional, courteous, and helpful. The food both at our catered events and in the restaurant was excellent. They also had a nice grab-and-go selection on Friday and Saturday for breakfast and lunch. Our room was well appointed and maintained. I was impressed that they were doing room upkeep with repairs and painting to keep the facility looking good. There was plenty of space indoors and outdoors for our 200 plus people to gather, reminisce and catch up. The location is perfect for access to stores and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
We absolutely LOVE The Scott! This has been one of our favorite places to stay over the years thanks to the incredible staff, the beautiful Canal Club and lobby area, and the consistently amazing food. The guest rooms are comfortable, and the overall vibe is truly special. That said, we’ve noticed that some areas are starting to show their age. The paint, rusting handrails, pool tiles, and landscaping—especially the grass and plant areas—are beginning to fall below the high standards we associate with The Scott. We understand it was last remodeled in 2018, but it may be time for another refresh to maintain the experience that makes this place so unique. We still absolutely love it here and appreciate everything the team does to make our stays memorable. Looking forward to seeing how it continues to grow and improve!
Lodging dates: 5/04-08/2025. Cool venue, antiquated but perfect theme for retreat in Scottsdale. Various stores near by, but food and actual shopping is a bit of a distance. The FREE Shuttle was a pleasant option. .the pools are great, and the vibe is positive. Banquet food was decent. The Canal Club restaurant was also decent but needs to expand on more options for various diets. Room was unique and I did like it. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious. I was floor 1. Meeting space is small and it’s strange walking through bars and common areas to get to various rooms. Overall decent, but unorthodox. Would recommend and would happily return.
