The Seaside Chapel Port Fairy

Wonderful accomodation with everything you need to have a great experience. Gary and Michelle should be proud of their establishment and although many claim to be luxury few attain the standards set by Seashells.

We stayed at Seashells hosted by Port Fairy Retreats. We've now stayed at historic Port Fairy a few times and this was by far the best house and Michelle was the best host you could hope for. She was very accommodating to our needs and requests. The location of Seashells is excellent with a short walk to the interesting shops and cafes, and yet it was very quiet. Loved the feel of the house inside and out. Comfortable chairs and footstools to recline back and watch the large screen TV. The kitchen is amazing, open to the dining area it flows onto a wonderful outside set up for sheltered lounging, as well as more dining space, which included attractive pots filled with herbs to supplement one's culinary menu. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully presented with each double bedroom having a wall mounted TV, comfy beds and bedding and black out blinds. Lovely bathroom products supplied as well. The lock up garage is a bonus. We actually didn't need to use the car for the 3 days as we walked everywhere, the spot being so convenient. It's a joy to stroll around this beautiful township. Thanks Michelle for making our extra long weekend such a pleasurable time!

If you want the perfect place for a beach holiday book Tides at Port Fairy. Beautiful big house a few minutes walk from beach. Upstairs and downstairs living areas, an excellent, well equipped kitchen, great dining area & really comfortable seating area for a glass of wine after a day at beach, or after a bike ride along coast. [also great upstairs terrace). We have been coming with family(4 adults, 2kids) for 10 years, and Michelle always has something new- filtered drinking water tap, slow cooker, coffee machine etc. a generous pantry has all the basics like olive oil, spices, tea/coffee, & there is always a surprise to make us welcome.
