It was really nice to see kangaroos and birds and other animals just by the lake. The most stunning surprise is the food, especially breakfast and dinner, there’s always something to amaze you. But the Tesla charger doesn’t work, which left me at 4% of battery on my arrival back to the next fast charger

Positives about the place are location and actual rooms are nice. Negatives, overworked and stressed out staff. They are trying their best but you can see they are under the pump and as a result you don’t get a good experience. No room service and response was we are fully booked. If you need something you have to go to reception to get it, restaurant dinner was extremely poor and had bad smell. Coffee is average and overpriced. If I stay here again it will only be for location and I would bring all your food, drinks and amenities and have zero expectation from the hotel management for anything as they can’t deliver, basic expectation from a 4 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel but a lot of let downs. First of all is a great location, beautiful views and nice big rooms with a mini kitchen. The downfall was the service and the restaurant being closed. We were not told it would be closed on Sunday and Monday when booking and that's both nights we were staying. Being stuck with food 20 minutes away is disappointing. When we asked is there anything they could offer because of the inconvenience the person who I think was the manager (indian guy) just goes "no". The young guy at reception was very nice, the manager could learn something from his staff. There's is also no shuttle service to Mt Buller and no real support on how to get there. I also asked for extra towels and toilet paper, they said no problem. Nothing arrived for an hour, called back and reception was closed, it went offsite and apparently the staff said wait until tomorrow, I had no usable towels. I wouldn't stay here again. For the price I don't think it's worth it. Better staying up on the mountain. We could also not use my Accor free drinks because the bar was closed. I was very disappointed and this puts a bad name to the Accor brand. Edited: Added more details and moved them from a 3 to 2 after my stay.
