The Sebel Yarrawonga Silverwoods

Had a great stay with friends, tagged along in a 2-bedroom room. Everything was neat and clean — there was a very faint paint smell, and by the look of how clean it was, I think it’s been painted recently. I had Matthew for breakfast and he gave incredible service. I had a beautiful big breakfast that was well cooked and it was delivered nice and hot. It was a great start to the day with a great coffee. Pizza for lunch and steak for dinner — everything was tasty. Sara made our dinner experience an exceptional one, and Stefano had great knowledge of what wine to have with our meal. I had a few questions for the front desk and Liz was helpful with some local knowledge for us. I struck up a conversation with Mitchell the maintenance man after I watched him repair a door that wouldn’t close using a hammer and a screwdriver with a hard, sharp blow on the hinge the door closed again. After a little chat with him, I realised how much work is required to keep the wheels turning in the background. Heather was also great when we had an issue in our room. It’s a great location on the water in Yarrawonga. The only real problem I had is that it is a long way from the car park to the rooms, and as it was drizzling, there was absolutely no cover along the path unless you take a long detour around the buildings.

Exceeded my expectations. We had a wonderful 2 night stay here in a 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious, well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. The view over the lake was stunning, and the facilities were great. Very nicely presented, the grounds were very well maintained. You could easily park yourself here for a couple of nights and not have to go anywhere else. The food was quite nice with good portion sizes and the buffet breakfast was good too. The bar area is also very inviting with comfortable seating and couches - great to sit around and catch up with friends and family over a few drinks. I would definitely recommend staying here for a couple of nights. I’m sure we will be back.

We stayed one night as part of a work-cation. And loved it. Winter - so was pretty quiet - but the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular. The room was very stylish and felt quite new. Bed was very comfortable too. We ate at the restaurant and were well looked after with prompt friendly service and delicious food. There’s a lovely walk along the lake shore to help build an appetite too.
