The Senagajima Story Line

Stayed here in early April and was very impressed by everything. Pool: The shallower pool on the rooftop is heated! There is a small jacuzzi in the sheltered area too which is also heated. So even on a cold day, you can enjoy the pool. The infinity pool was nice too. There are great views of planes landing and taking off if you’re into that sort of thing. Not just commercial planes but fighter jets too. Happy hour: You can get drinks for free, including alcoholic drinks. Nice to drink and watch the sunset! Rooms: The rooms were nice and big with great views. There’s a balcony too. Toilet and shower area were also generously sized. Everything was clean and working perfectly. TV has Netflix, Disney+. I was never bothered by the plane sounds at night. There are two heavy glass doors leading to the balcony so it cuts out a lot noise. Location: You can drive to get food nearby and it’s super near all the car rental places and the airport. A+. Parking: There are two parking areas so we never had problems finding a lot. The best part is, the carpark is home to many cute cats.

Hotel is new and very near to the airport. It is very near to umikiji terrace. Parking lots available in the hotel. Hotel breakfast is a unique experience: you are given picnic baskets in your room, which you bring to the restaurant to collect your breakfast and bring to wherever you’d like to enjoy your food, eg at the restaurant itself, sky lounge, by the pool, or even in the room. Breakfast options are pick one out of the three (wrap, sandwich, spam musubi), a salad bar, daily soup and muffin, and juices/coffee/tea. The room is very spacious and comes with a humidifier+air purifier which you need to fill with water. Love how spacious the toilet and bath area are, lots of room to spread out your facial care stuff. The room comes with a mini kitchenette with microwave and a large fridge. Very impressed with the hotel and its cleanliness, will definitely return again.

On the final leg of our trip, we opted for The Senagajima Storyline, which proved to be an ideal conclusion to our journey. Situated conveniently across Naha Airport and a mere two minutes from Umikaji Terrace, the hotel’s Art Deco-inspired facade and interior exuded an elegant ambiance. We were greeted warmly by the friendly and professional staff, ensuring a seamless check-in process. The spacious, cozy, and comfortable room was equipped with all the necessary amenities for our two-night stay. We eagerly anticipated the evening’s complimentary alcohol and snack bar, situated on the rooftop overlooking the airport. This picturesque location provided an ideal vantage point for aviation enthusiasts. The hotel’s breakfast was exceptional, offering picnic baskets and a diverse selection of local and international delights. We were provided with the flexibility to enjoy our breakfast at any designated location within the hotel. Overall, The Senagajima Storyline exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it for your next visit to Okinawa.
