5 Stars I really enjoyed my stay at The Senator Hotel & Conference Centre. All the services were excellent, and the rooms were very clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping cleaned our room every day, which was great. The breakfast service was especially impressive- 100% satisfied! The elevator system is modern and secure with a key card system, which I appreciated. However, one of the elevators was not working during our stay, so sometimes we had to wait longer than expected. I hope that gets fixed soon. We stayed in room 540 for three nights, and the only issue was that the exhaust fan wasn't working. We reported it at the front desk, but unfortunately, no one followed up. Still, overall, it was a great experience. Thank you for your hospitality. I happily give you 5 stars!
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Our room offered a decent view of the city. The staff was friendly & helpful, and the hotel was reasonably priced. ☺️☺️☺️ However, the breakfast (though tasty) lacked variations: Every day, they serve bacon/sausage, potato, and scrambled egg. It would be great to have more vegetables. 🥦🍆 Also, the Wi-Fi often didn't work😓, and so did the TV🙁, as it also required internet connection to work. I think having a steady Wi-Fi that actually works is a basic requirement for today's hotels.🙂↕️
I was able to extend my stay which was awesome and pay cash for that as well as I’m a bartender, upon checkout though with Joanne I got charged for a “stained” WASHCLOTH!!!!! So when staying there do NOT use the wash cloths as you will get charged for it as it’s apparently damaged! I also had an issue with her and asking for a late checkout and was told “you have to extend your stay and can’t use your deposit for a late checkout it’s not what I do” when two weeks prior I was able to checkout at 3 pm and use my 250$ cash deposit to pay for it! Either than her I have zero complaints. But because of one bad seed I will NOT be staying there again and I will NOT be recommending it to any of my family or friends.
