We stayed here while visiting Clemson with our high school daughter. It’s conveniently located in downtown Clemson walking distance to visitor center, stadium, campus, and local coffee shops, restaurants and Clemson stores. We had breakfast and lunch at Delish Sisters on 1st floor of hotel and service was fantastic and food/coffee delicious. We also enjoyed the roof top lounge with arial views of campus. Clemson is a unique mix of southern charm, small community feel for being a large university. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were nicely decorated, comfortable beds and pillows. LOVE! 🧡

If you stay/go to the shepherd hotel make sure you find Anthony. He is the best employee I have ever met. So kind and wise if you ever need advice, or to have a good laugh! 100 recommend this hotel only with Anthony present!!!

Other then the valet being excellent 5 stars to Mike and his staff in valet he was super helpful because elevators were down. If ur going to send ur guest up a back staircase because of this at least clean it. It was gross. Again Mike I believe was the valet manager carrying our luggage up the stairs to our room. Very kind. Outside our room was dirty the stairs were disgusting. Front desk was awful. Oh the girls at the coffee area were nice but clean up the hotel and fix ur elevators. Front desk was ungracious. For hospitality ur hotel needs to take lessons from ur valet department. Shame on u.
