The Ships Quarters

Lovely and spacious room for 4. Nice view, very warm and friendly greeting by Keith. Very clean room and lots of space for a family of 4. Nice location to go for a walk or see something by foot. The Best place we rented so far on a 4 weeks trip. Free parking behind house. Can definitely recommend and we would love to come back.

We stayed as a family of three (2 adults, 1 child) and were really impressed with the newly renovated rooms at the Ship’s Quarter in Eyemouth. The space was bright, modern, and very comfortable – plenty of room for all of us. Great location near the harbour, and everything was clean and well thought out. A perfect base for exploring the area. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed a couple of nights here and after reading all the reviews we ended up disappointed. We were told that the only remaining room did not have a sea view (which wasn't a problem) but it was also very small for a double with a tiny window. We found it pretty claustrophobic and the shower room was also very small. It was also very noisy from the seagulls that seemed to gather on the flat roof outside. Furthermore when you take into account that this has none of the benefits of a hotel ( such as reception breakfast etc) and is a guest house we thought the offer was fairly poor for the price and we would not recommend it.
