The Shore Hotel & Residences

Stayed here for a week during my visit to Melaka. I got a private unit (not under the management of the hotel). The property is a bit worn out, and would deserve some renovation and upgrade works. The complex also has a decent gym and pool. Nothing special but good enough! But all in all, still alright for the price you pay, affordable and good value. I do like the location, just next to Melaka river and walking distance to Jonker street and the old heritage town.

The parking is hard to find, super inconvenient. Very hard to access to reception counter. 5 elevators spoil at the same time. No technician come over! Spend more than 40 minutes at level 3A. Bath tub was leaking, sink was leaking. First enter the room the floor was wet, we almost slip. The heater is not functioning, even after I turn on. Definitely not worth the price.

Honestly the worse stay ever. Besides the location and the convenience distance to prime attractions,this place has nothing to offer. Both units were run down and smelt of urine upon entering. I housing didn't not contact me after booking ro provide checking in details till i had to chase them down for checking information. Horrible horible service and knowledge about anything. The electricity stopped almost 6 times all night, ac started giving warm air after the 3rd electricity interruption. Horribly managed though its a nice property and location. Stay elsewhere.
