I read some of the reviews that said this hotel didn't get it right and I totally disagree, if you want 5 star then pay up for it. This hotel is in a super position with great views of the beach, easy access to the beach and it has a super swimming pool area with ample loungers. The staff are helpful, polite, interested in what you've been up to and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and comfortable and very large - we were given an upgrade to a room with balcony and sea view with no extra charge. Starbucks coffee in the room and fridge, seating area and table. I would definitely stay again.
Absolutely the best experience! The staff were helpful, especially Michelle! She was a joy to see each day. The room was beautiful, neatly cleaned and the hotel smells fabulous. The whole experience was excellent! We will surely be back!
Stayed 4 nights and didn't want to give them 1 star, but couldn't do better than 2 stars since they were located on the beach (but so are many other hotels in Daytona Beach). To start off, they claim that they are upscale which is a stretch. They lied and said that they have robes in the rooms which they no longer have. I had to shower with shampoo the first day because they were out of body wash. The halls smelled extremely moldy with a very weird odor. They don't have any microwaves in the rooms. You have to take your food down to the lobby in order to warm food because that's where the microwaves are located. I'm sure this is to encourage you to purchase food from their restaurant. Although the rooms are large, they are very dated. The patio door was so rusted you could barely open it. The tub drained extremely slow causing your feet to be in dirty water. The in-room phone was broken and we had to have maintenance, come the first day we were there. The safe didn't work and maintenance couldn't get another safe in the room until the last day we were there (what good was that). We were put in a room facing loud construction and was told that they weren't able to move us to another room. We ate at their restaurant and had an issue with my order and the waiters were rude and acted overwhelmed about fixing the problem. They had the nerve to accidentally overcharge me more than $82.00 and had to refund it for a day I wasn't even there. For the price these people charge per night pretending to be upscale, I would not waste my money here. The upside was that the room did have an ocean view, but that was about it. Never again!
