We had the pleasure of staying at The Siam Hotel in Bangkok for just one night during our layover—and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and they went out of their way to make our honeymoon feel special. A special thank you to Guram, our butler, who was wonderfully patient and helpful throughout our stay. He organized a beautiful boat transfer to a local restaurant for dinner, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is a masterpiece. Unlike large chain hotels like the Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental, The Siam offers something truly one-of-a-kind. Every corner is impeccably maintained and filled with stunning antiques and decor—it feels like staying in a living museum. We only wish we had stayed longer. If you're looking for a place that offers both luxury and character, The Siam is simply unbeatable.

An Exquisite Urban Escape – A Soulful Stay at The Siam We’ve just returned from what can only be described as an exceptional stay at The Siam—a place that completely redefines luxury in the most personal, soulful way. From the moment you arrive, you're transported. The hotel feels like a hidden sanctuary nestled in Bangkok, quietly elegant and serene. The interiors are stunning—rich in detail, yet calming. Every corner tells a story: carved wooden artefacts, vintage cameras, delicate porcelain, classic paintings, and antique furniture. It’s like staying in a living, breathing museum—but one that’s inviting and warm, never stuffy. Service was impeccable. Bee greeted us with genuine warmth and took care of us with such grace throughout our stay. Kris was equally attentive and ensured we were always comfortable and well looked after. Their kindness truly made us feel at home. The riverside pool was the perfect retreat—peaceful, private, and surrounded by greenery. We spent relaxed afternoons there with a glass of Prosecco and some of the best poolside food we’ve had. One of the most memorable touches was the hotel’s private boat service along the Chao Phraya. Not only was it scenic, but it gave us the freedom to explore temples, malls, and markets—then return to tranquility whenever we wanted. Breakfast was another highlight. The à la carte menu offered everything from healthy açai bowls and fresh juices to French toast and pancakes that had the kids thrilled every morning. Each dish felt curated and beautifully plated. Dinner at Chon Thai Restaurant was outstanding. Every dish was memorable—from the flavorful curries to the fresh prawns—and the team surprised my sister with a birthday dessert that made her night truly special. Thank you Takob and team for the extra care. We also booked a photoshoot during our stay, and it was an absolute dream. The hotel’s interiors and lush outdoor spaces made for an incredible backdrop and we have a beautiful set of heart-warming photos. My wife enjoyed quiet moments in the library, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere with a book in hand—one of her favorite parts of the stay. Our kids especially loved the movie room, where we ended one night watching a film together on cozy beanbags, pizza in hand. It was relaxed, personal, and full of heart—just like the entire experience at The Siam. If you're looking for an escape within Bangkok that offers peace, character, and deeply thoughtful hospitality, The Siam is in a class of its own. It’s not just a hotel—it’s a soulful retreat we’ll always remember. We can’t wait to return.

I never write reviews for hotels and have visited many 5 star hotels but this is the one that stood out for me in all my visits. Every small detail within the hotel is very special almost every corridor or wall is filled with antiques, posters or paintings you could just take a stroll inside the hotel and be amazed. From having a Vinyl room with a great music collection to an entire library and to your own private mini cinema, this hotel has set a whole new standard for me. All those awards that this hotel has been given are more than deserved. Side note; connecting with your personal butler via whatsapp is a genius idea and has made everything so much more convenient.
