⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve stayed in many hotels across Tunisia, but Hotel Sindbad Hammamet is by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The reception staff are incredibly helpful and professional, especially Rim and Minion, who truly went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. Their kindness and attention to detail made a big difference. A special thank you to the door staff, always welcoming with a smile, and to all the friendly waiters at Le Pool Club, who made every moment by the pool enjoyable. The atmosphere, service, and hospitality are simply top-class. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hammamet.
Had a very mixed experience when we stayed at The Sindbad. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. Sometimes a bit too much but I think that’s just the custom there. However please be aware we stayed Thursday - Monday. The first night was fine however Friday night and Saturday night they had LOUD parties until 2:30am. The music was so loud it would shake the bedroom and when we complained and were moved room to the other side of the hotel we would still hear it. This was deeply upsetting as we came to relax and sleep but were woken up at midnight with blaring music as if at a festival. This was not advertised anywhere or told to us before. We would not have booked to stay here if we knew it was a party hotel on the weekends. These events are on every weekend as we looked it up so please be warned, you will not sleep well if you stay here unfortunately over a weekend. The staff were very accommodating when we complained but I shouldn’t have had to deal with this in the first place. If you want calm, quiet and relaxing I wouldn’t stay here.
Disappointing Service at an Otherwise Beautiful Spot We spent the day at Sindbad Hammamet. While the beach is beautiful and the hotel facilities are aesthetically pleasing, the service — especially at the beach — was shockingly poor and far below what you’d expect for the price. The experience began with a server snatching the menu from our hands without asking if we were finished, just to hand it to another table. His colleagues sat just two tables away, lounging under an umbrella, smoking and chatting while guests were left waiting. One of the staff tried to take our meal vouchers immediately upon arrival — before we even had a chance to look at the menu, which I refused. Throughout the experience, it honestly felt like they were doing us a favor by even bringing a menu or taking an order. It’s disappointing to see how far this place has declined. Sindbad used to be the place to be — now, for the entry price and expected reputation, it’s simply not worth it. The management seriously needs to revisit their service standards if they hope to maintain any kind of prestige.
