Great official USJ hotel just a short walk from the park and located right next to the train station, which makes it super convenient. The rooms are small, but perfectly fine if you're mainly just sleeping there. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the free bathhouse (SkySpa) for guests is a fantastic bonus after a long day at the park. The price was very reasonable during my visit. Highly recommend for anyone visiting USJ!
Overall, we were pleased with our choice. The main advantages: 1. Location: Within walking distance of Universal Park and also convenient and quick to get to various places in Osaka, as well as Kyoto, Nara and Kobe; 2. The room is quite large compared to 11-meter rooms in most hotels; 3. The spa on the 14th floor is excellent: Everything is clean, quiet, comfortable. All care products are available. We really enjoyed relaxing after an active tourist day. The disadvantages: 1. Breakfast: Delicious, but the same every day, you can at least change a couple of dishes every day. Those who come for 1-2 nights are fine, we were there for 8 nights and it is hard to eat the same thing for more than a week; 2. Cleaning: In general, not bad, every day service, but there were stains on the sofa that require dry cleaning or more serious cleaning.
If location is your top priority, this hotel is an excellent choice. It's incredibly convenient, located just a few steps from the train station and Universal City. We appreciated the fast and easy check in process. Our room was a standard compact size, equipped with a bathroom and minifridge, though it lacked drawers and traditional nightstands. The breakfast buffet was overwhelmingly Japanese (95%), with a small western selection (5%), and all items were served cold, something to keep in mind if you prefer a warm morning meal. Be prepared for potentially long waits if you plan to use the laundry facilities, as there are only five washer/dryer units for the entire hotel, and the dryers operate quite slowly.
