What a great find The Siren Hotel was. From the moment we drove up and used their Valet parking & checked in at the front desk - Everyone was super friendly, nice & helpful. Lobby bar & cafe were great. We would definitely stay here again. Super convenient to the ballpark & great dining choices near by. Funky vibe and fabulous use of vintage decor in this refurbished old building. Had a night cap at the Candy Bar. Bed was super comfy & it had great shower. Loved the decor in our room. Well done Siren - well done. Love seeing old buildings being renovated & revitalized.
Really neat experience for an overnight in downtown Detroit. Easy walking to the Fillmore, the Tiger Stadium or any other venue downtown. The people mover has an entrance right next to the hotel to make moving around the city. Even easier. Parking can be a little tricky so the $35 valet parking is your best option. Coffee is $4 at the cafe at the entrance of The Siren. Every staff person that I came into contact with were extremely friendly! I will be back 😉
Hotel is adorable. They were super cool about letting my husband drop off luggage early and check in early on our wedding day, even though we wouldn't be back to the hotel to get to our room till 1 am. They left us a card congratulating us on getting married. We chose the Siren as we spent our first Valentine's Day together there. It is so unique, clean, and have such a great overall vibe. It is pricey, but great location downtown, awesome bar downstairs, and breakfast area in the morning. I wish their lobby was a bit bigger but understand that cannot be because of the repurposed building -- which I absolutely support. My favorite part of the rooms are the bathrooms with the walk in shower and awesome robes they give you to wear. Similarly, if you get a room with a cool staircase! If you are staying downtown, the Siren is a great place to be.
