We stopped here because the ones nearer to Tintern Abbey were closed and were pleasantly surprised. We had a Sunday lunch, which was really good with plenty of meat and veg and considerably cheaper than the ones beer the abbey! Definitely recommended.
Really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff and enjoyed the food. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Water pressure was low in the shower .that was the only negative.
Very friendly pub which was a hive of activity. The place was very busy when we visited with locals enjoying a night out. There was pool and darts being played and everyone was having a good time.
