The Snooty Fox Inn

A B&B that doesn’t do breakfasts! Room adequate, bed not the comfiest. TV didn’t work, virtually no WiFi signal. There was a fridge, microwave in the room if that is of use to you. Our room was set below the level of the car park & with the lack of nets at the window there was absolutely no privacy unless you had the curtains closed… (we kept them open as the room was dark with them closed, presumably the guests who we saw looking in enjoyed the view!!) On the plus side this guest house is well situated for Looe( taxi fares a bit eye watering though!) and the Eden Project is not too far away.

Its a motel. We were under the impression it was a pub and there would be food available. There isn't. The nearest place to get food and drinks is in looe, 10 mins away. There isn't a fridge or any cooking facilities so it is literally just a room. They come and clean the room every day and change the sheets/ towels etc and are very helpful and amenable. We needed an extension lead for the medical equipment as there are limited plug sockets and the owner came straight away and sorted it out for us. It is OK for what it is, but we were slightly disappointed as we wrongly assumed the pub was on site and available

This review is for another property managed by the same lady. The customer service, I'm sure, won't change. The Harbour Moon Looe Sadly, the experience here was poor. We arrived at the property to be told that if we forgot our key, we would be locked out with nobody around to help until morning. This was the first thing said to us. We then had an apology from the staff for the damp due to flooding. We were told it's only the corridor, but getting into the room, it was also damp. We were told it's not damp and the room is ready for us. However, we can make it "smell better if we'd like." At this point, I asked for our money back. We were offered a free drink to compensate, or we could be moved 3 miles down the road. This wasn't acceptable as we clearly wanted to stay in Looe. The landlady then threatened us with the police and explained that she would make sure we left by watching us on the CCTV camera on a call to my mobile as her son is the "manager" but unable to make decisions. Avoid this property at all costs.
