Everything was picture perfect. From the views, to the service, to the atmosphere. I could've stayed there forever. The food and drinks at the restaurant were all delicious. Love their emphasis on healthier choices/farm to table. Every view from the property was just gorgeous, couldn't help but feel relaxed and at a peace.

We recently visited The Colony Palms for a short weekend trip. Overall it was a good experience. The service is what really stands out and sets this hotel apart from other options in the area. The staff was incredibly responsive, friendly and had great attention to detail. The center courtyard has a beautiful pool and patio area with pool side service that's comfortable and feels secluded but could use a little more space between chaises. The on site restaurant has a great cocktail selection. The food is fairly typical California poolside hotel cuisine but very well executed. Location is conveniently close to downtown so it's easy to walk to near by restaurants as well. The only real let down here was the room itself. It's small and very dark I understand the dimly lit environment is an aesthetic choice but it would be nice to have the option for a bit more light at times. The main bedroom and living area was well maintained but the bathroom looked a bit run down and there was just a general sense of mustiness. Overall the room was just fine. Admittedly there are likely better room choices but it just felt like a let down compared to everything else including the price. I would definitely visit the Colony Palms again and it was a good experience but not my first choice for a visit to Palm Springs.

I’ve been to the Colony Palms restaurant a couple times for brunch. It’s a beautifully-designed restaurant next to their equally attractive pool. Services is always very good. However…. Everything on their brunch menu is very expensive. I was in the mood for a burger, so I sprung for their ridiculously priced $39 option thinking that, at that price, it must be fantastic. Not the case. Took one bite & it was a huge, saucy mess with lettuce hanging all over the place. I used a fork & knife to eat the rest. Perfectly cooked, medium rare, but somehow the burger was barely warm. I’ve never had a barely warm burger before. The basic square of cheddar was cold & firm. Not even slightly melted. The taste overall was fine, but definitely nothing special. I might suggest they remind their cooks how much they’re charging for their meals, so they can take more care in their preparation. A $39 mediocre burger! It was enough to sour my experience and not need to ever eat there again.
