The Soul Istanbul Hotel

Excellent location in çihangir, I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff is extremely helpful, I didn’t have to touch my bags at all. They gave me info about their restaurants, breakfast and taxi service but no forcing. The rooms were plush, clean, very well designed. I took a point because at night, it was noisy as my room was close to the breakfast bar and people were smoking there every now and then. But overall, my stay was great. No issues whatsoever

The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. It's located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in Istanbul, with a good selection of bars, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The rooms are a bit small but very well designed. The service was excellent, with friendly and always-smiling staff at the reception. The breakfast is good value for money, featuring fresh orange juice and a nice selection of warm items. I just wish the person responsible for breakfast had been more attentive and available so guests could easily place their orders. One downside is that the rooms overlooking the street can get noisy, even with the windows closed, especially late at night with cars driving by and loud music blaring. Also, the hotel is in a bit of a hilly area, so walking, especially with luggage, could be challenging.

Loved our stay here although it was just for a night. Our antique room with sofa was very beautifully designed with great equipments and well-stocked amenities. We had a great sleep on the bed that was made with very tasteful embroidered linens--comparable to 5-star hotel setup The staff are young, friendly, and always ready to help. They helped us with a last minute restaurant reservation that we can't make on our own given that the restaurant only takes call in Turkish. You will see Ismail from time to time. That's the hotel's cat that always sits strategically at the kitchen's exit outside We didn't opt in for breakfast as we were already planning to try non-hotel breakfast nearby. This was honestly a regret seeing that actually the hotel provides a very great breakfast spread at very affordable rate even if not part of the room package The hotel is situated in a hip neighborhood. Yes it's walking distance from Istiklal Street and Taksim Square but the real gems are the cute shops and bars nearby in walking distance. Seems like this area is where the cool kids in Istanbul come to hang out
