Definitely a 4 star hotel - with 5 star service. I had a great stay at The Spring House Hotel Rome Vatican, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from check-in to checkout. The bellhop was wonderful, assisting me with my luggage, and the speedy checkout process was a nice touch, with the team genuinely interested in my experience. The room felt fresh and clean, and the bed was amazing—one of the most comfortable I’ve had at a hotel. The shower was great as well, though I do wish it had a curtain or door to keep the floor from getting wet. The location was a huge plus, being so close to the Vatican, and the on-site parking garage made things even more convenient. For a Hilton, this is a beautiful property, and I would definitely stay here again!
This gets a 100/10 cleanliness rating from me. (And I’m the crazy girl who brings shower shoes to each event.) My husband is a die hard Hilton fan and I’m partial to Marriott but this hotel might have swayed me to the Hilton side! We’d gotten in late but the gentleman at the front desk was cheerful and happy to help. Our room was perfectly tucked away and quiet. After 6 long days of walking I can’t tell you how thankful we were for that! They always sent extra towels and blankets. Kept everything clean. Our room included the breakfast buffett which was phenomenal. I am gluten free and they were more than happy to provide celiac friendly items where they could. Location was superior. I think it was maybe a 5-7 min walk to the Vatican. Overall lovely experience and we’ll be back to book!
This is in reference to my husband’s recent review in which the manager replied saying that the rest of the family slept comfortably….We Did Not! I never spoke to this manager, so I don’t know where she got that. Our son and I were also very uncomfortable and hot the whole night. Both rooms did not have windows, what a fire hazard!!! We were finally moved to another room the second night, it was much better! The hotel is beautiful! Great location if you’re going to the Vatican, but if you’re staying here, make sure to stay in a higher level room for comfort and safety.
