Very nice hotel.. Def a 5 star.. The staff at front desk Joe welcomed us with very clear English. Without him I think this trip would not be this wonderful as my Chinese isn't so good. Thank you Joe for taking care of us. And who ever his manager is give him props!
The hotel is beautiful, not the most modern, but with stylish interiors and a comfortable, high-end feel. Our room had a great view of the Bund. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, and the cocktails were also great – they can even adjust them to your taste. The only small downside is that the nearest metro stations (Yuyuan Garden or Xiaonanmen) are a bit of a walk away, but it's not a problem if you like walking.
