The St. Regis Osaka

We had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis in Osaka! The view was absolutely wonderful along with the room. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They all made sure you were well taken care of. The butler service and housekeeping would stop by around 8:00 at night to make sure we didn't need anything. Breakfast was included, which was a huge bonus. My husband and would most definitely stay here again!

A Thoughtful, Elegant Stay at The St. Regis Osaka We had a wonderful three-night stay at The St. Regis Osaka and were delighted to be upgraded to a suite, which added a special touch to our experience. The hotel itself is stunning, but as always with the St. Regis brand, it’s the staff who truly make the difference. There was a small incident with one staff member that initially left me unsettled. However, upon reflection, I believe there was no ill intent. What truly impressed us was the way the team handled it—once my husband shared our concern, multiple staff members checked in on us, and their kindness and attentiveness turned our stay into a truly memorable one. Even the General Manager came to personally check on us during check-out to ensure we had enjoyed our stay, which meant a lot. Since this trip was also for my birthday, they went out of their way to make it feel extra special. I’m very grateful for that personal touch and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. A few observations that stood out to me: • In both rooms we stayed in, there were emergency ladders, and just outside our suite, we noticed an emergency helicopter area. This was quite unique—something I’ve never seen before, even at other St. Regis properties worldwide. • Breakfast included blue cheese, which I found interesting given that cheese in general seems to be quite limited in Japan (at least based on what I’ve seen in stores). • The cappuccino at breakfast was excellent—clearly made by a skilled barista. However, later in the day, it tasted quite different, likely due to being prepared by a machine. Overall, I highly recommend The St. Regis Osaka. The location may not be as central as some others, but everything else more than makes up for it.

The hotel is in a great location, but I was quite disappointed during the check-in process. We dropped off our luggage early in the morning and were informed that check-in would be available at 3 PM. However, when we returned at 3 ish, one of the three rooms we had booked was still not ready. The staff member assisting us appeared confused and had no clear explanation. What was more frustrating was that, We had also requested a late check-out in advance but were denied — ironic, considering the room wasn’t ready on time. Eventually, we were granted a late check-out to match the delay. Aside from that, the 4-night stay was smooth and comfortable. Big praise to the valet and doorman team — always cheerful and energetic. All in all, while the hotel had its strengths, I don’t think I would return.
