The St. Regis San Francisco

Customer service was amazing. From the bellman to the front desk staff. They greeted us warmly each time we entered the lobby. 5 star service. The room clean up service was also amazing. I look forward to staying again and recommended it to all my family and friends.

We stayed in one of the suites. It was very spacious with a living room separate from the bedroom. We were with our two young children and the butler/maids were very welcoming, helping to setup a tent with toys and books. The restaurant downstairs is pretty decent for a hotel restaurant (except I wouldn’t recommend the chilaquiles). Menu prices are high so only worth it if you have breakfast included. Location is good — check out Oren’s nearby. Otherwise it’s a pretty good, albeit expensive, option for a high end hotel in downtown sf.

This hotel is extremely mismanaged. Staff ignored multiple reasonable requests, and were slow to respond even after I raised concerns several times. I felt like guest comfort was the least of their priorities. If you experience anything similar, I highly recommend filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Luxury prices should come with basic respect — this property fails to deliver both.
