The attentiveness of the staff is nothing short of remarkable, anticipating needs with a grace and warmth that feels both genuine and intuitive. We were particularly touched by the unwavering dedication of Crystal from the Loyalty team. Her care and proactive approach ensured our stay was not merely comfortable, but truly memorable from the outset. Furthermore, the concierge service, embodied by the indefatigable Sunny, proved to be an invaluable asset. No request was too large or too small, handled with an efficiency and enthusiasm that went above and beyond. Even a fleeting need for transportation was met with remarkable swiftness, as Sunny personally ensured our departure was seamless by securing a taxi with impressive alacrity.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the St Regis Shenzhen in May 2025 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We are so impressed with the experience of our stay. Besides the perfect location of the hotel, the staff members who looked after us during our stay are precise and meticulous. Bobby Ban at the Reception Front Desk, Mia and Jay from the ButlerTeam and Betty Wan at the Social Restaurant have all demonstrated high quality of customer care and attention to details. Keep up the good work. Surely I’ll return to stay at St Regis Shenzhen again for my next visit and to recommend to my family and friends.
Booked 2 standard rooms for 3 nights through Amex FHR. Marriot app showed booking for 2 larger rooms (i.e. upgrade) a few days later. However, between making the booking and my stay there was zero email from the hotel (also no email post stay to ask for feedback). The only email I have was the one from Amex on the day of booking. I was so worried that I had to call the hotel the day before my stay just to make sure everything was ok (There was no email addresses and the message function in Marriot app did not work for this hotel). Check-in was relatively smooth and our butler Alice was very friendly. However, she forgot to get our luggage slip and arrange for our luggage to be sent to our room. We were waiting in the room for our luggage which did not come. Had to call the butler line but did not get through. Eventually someone called back and we gave our luggage slip number so they can bring the suitcases to our room. There are downsides to staying at high floor room in exchange for the fantastic view. Had to take lift to 96th floor and change to another lift to get to our room. The lift to 96 floor will be problematic for people with stuffy nose as ears might get blocked. The $200FHR credit can only be spent at the Italian restaurant and buffet at 95th which was super restrictive ( didn't utilise in the end). Also, when I ordered food delivery, I assumed I can collect from 96th floor but was told to collect from 1st floor myself. Only after expressing my disappointment did reception offer to send to our room. I booked St Regis Shenzhen because I really enjoyed the service during a recent stay at St Regis Macao. But unfortunately the experience at St Regis Shenzhen was no where close. In comparison, our family stay at Sheraton Guangzhou just before this was so much better.
