The Staincliffe Hotel

We have just returned from staincliffe hotel having stayed for 2 nights. Hotel recently been taken over, and noticable improvements are under way. (This was a return visit to hotel, after staying a couple of years ago) we would like to thank Dave and his team for a warm friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is a beautiful building, with lots of quirky character, and the views from the property are fantastic. We booked for the Sunday carvery with family members, , I can honestly say it's the best carvery I have ever had, generous portions of all meats which were delicious and perfectly cooked vegetables. I would urge anyone to try the food, you will not be disappointed, with quality and price. Well done chef!. We will definitely book into hotel accommodation the next time we are in the area(and of course the carvery)..Dave, was a pleasure to meet you, you're doing a great job, please pass on our thanks to all of your team. Had a pleasant evening and chilled out. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Nothing too much trouble. Great view and walk along sea front until fog rolled in but hey its December. We are into continental breakfasts which is included in room price.

Stayed at the Staincliffe for two night whilst attending a friend's wedding there. The room was spacious and clean, the roof terrace was a lovely feature. There were a few bits that needed adding to the room (it had recently been redecorated,) such as a TV, a bin and hotel info. The bathroom was huge and had some lovely features. The plumbing could do with updating as the hot water didn't come through properly. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the service was good.
