The Standard Ibiza

I just had a very nice vacation at the standard. I must say that I was always curious of the hotel and after four times in eivissa I’m so happy that I got to try it out. The location is perfect, I stayed en las casas privadas and loved the fact that we had privacy but at the same time all of the amenities of the main building. My boyfriend had to work and he got to stay in the lounge in peace all day working while I was at the pool in the main building, I enjoyed the fact that we could be close but still do our things. Too bad the pool closes at 6… The breakfast is not included but they have good prices and the portions are important. Food quality is good, and they have variety. Only thing the service was a little meh and some ginger shot glass were chipped. But that doesn’t make the breakfast bad! An amazing side note: they have all night room service, for us it was perfect since our flight was a little late and got to the hotel around midnight. We got to eat something very late and it was very good! Our room was very nice and spacious, although I must admit that there were some things that should be improved! The cleaning, I do not think that it was for a 5 star hotel. The towels were damp (they were folded damp, that’s why I think it’s an issue), the coffee not always refilled, and the water… we had to ask every single day of our stay for the water (that is complimentary), that being said these things could be improved but we loved our room and the overall experience in the hotel. I would suggest to give the cleaning ladies the water bottle or to do an extra round to put the water in the rooms and also to fix the shower door because every time one showered the water came out even if one was being careful! But that’s a minor issue:) The reception and concierge staff were so good! Always with a smile on the face and accommodating. Helping me printing an important document that was due and helping me find a beach bed en Cbbc Cala bassa. That was truly appreciated from the both of us. One thing, I think that the walls are a tad thin because we could hear a “party” in the room next door for several hours. Though that happens and it’s ibiza:)! But I can think that maybe for someone is a problem as I read in other reviews. That being said, I really enjoyed and loved my stay and hope to come back soon! P.s. These are tips from someone who lived in a hotel and doesn’t want to diminish the value, experience and quality of the structure.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Standard, Ibiza. From the moment we arrived, the level of attention to detail and the customer-centric attitude of the staff made a lasting impression. The quality of the furnishings, especially in the lobby and the incredibly comfortable bed, speaks to the high standards the hotel upholds. What really stood out, though, was the guest experience team — they’re simply top notch. Always helpful, quick to respond, and in great spirits, they made us feel right at home. Special thanks to Antonio, Natanael, Younes, Barbara, Tiziana, and Niharika (the Sales Manager), whose responsiveness and warmth added so much to our stay. The only small downside was that we booked through an OTA and the hotel couldn’t match the rate directly — a minor detail in the grand scheme of things. All in all, The Standard is an amazing property, and one that truly feels like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Ibiza.

Second and second time they don’t deliver water. I called and explained, the next day same mistake. Also, when asked for missing water ( originally 2 bottles), the receptionist argued and brought only one🤦🏻‍♀️. It’s a 3* hotel level, especially after repeated miss in simple water service! $1000 per room, no breakfast included, no water refill. I swear if I could id cancel and move next door. Unfortunately my room is not refundable.
