The Standard London

The Standard is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The thoughtfully designed property is full of surprises around every corner. The library/lounge, bar and beer garden, rooftop area, and the Banksy artwork are just a few of my favorite features. The terrace suite was spacious and I loved the nook with the cushy leather couches and dining area. The view of the city was great and the balcony tub was also a great feature. Lastly, the staff were kind and helpful, especially the upbeat woman who checked us in! Would love to return!

Stayed there twice and each time I had very different rooms in terms of size and design. This time I got an odd one that looks like a sauna room converted into a hotel room. Nevertheless the location is convenient, the rooftop bar is cool, the staff are nice and everything is clean and thoughtfully designed. I'll stay here again!

I wasn’t a guest at the hotel but went to grab the breakfast. It was a very nice buffet breakfast but the most memorable part is the team of incredibly helpful and nice staff! We went to find a calm spot to eat breakfast and had exactly that and more! Extra big thanks to the lovely staff, my only regret is not having cash to tip them. Hopefully the management reads this and helps reward them for the excellent service.
