The Station Hotel

We had a wonderful stay here for a couple of days while we were house shopping from out of town. It was very clean (and I am super picky), the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was convenient and more than I expected. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Even the gym was perfect for a quick workout. This place deserves a better rating than it has. Most of the negative reviews are because of the shuttle, which seems like a silly thing to base your entire review on. We just didn’t try to use it.

Our evening connecting flight was cancelled and we had to stay overnight for the replacement flight. We were very naturally dejected when we arrived at the front desk. We were greeted by a cheerful Siri, she made check-in a breeze and was always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Thanks for being the bright spot of the day.

I stayed at Candlewood Suites by IHG for one night because I had a 14-hour layover at Dallas Airport. The stay was great! After a long flight, the bed was very comfortable and helped me rest well. The hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the airport, which made it very easy and convenient. The room was clean and had everything I needed, like a small kitchen, a desk, and a nice sitting area. It felt like home, even for just one night. There were two things I didn’t like: they don’t offer breakfast, and the receptionist was very slow. We had to wait a long time to get our rooms, which was hard after a tiring flight. Still, overall, I highly recommend Candlewood Suites if you need a comfortable place to stay near the airport.
