Super cute hotel! Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are bouncy and soft. The area is quiet and a 2 minute walk to the station. The pub downstairs is wonderful and food is delicious. The staff made this stay a 100/5, I definitely would stay here again!
This is an amazing local community pub with the best staff. Charlie and Lola are always on hand to help book the best tables in the house. Pedro and Charles will put a smile on your face and Jess will serve the best food to your table. And if you make it here on open mic night you might even be able to request a song from the fabulous Freddie - if he’s not holding the fort behind the bar… Just to note, we’ve just had amazing service from Jess who looked after us in the garden and gave us the best burgers! Phoenix also poured me a beautiful pint of Landlord
Fantastic atmosphere with a nice bar and delicious Breakfast menu! Our room was a bit warm and the lights were quite dim. Despite this I would definitely come here again. Nice location close to the train (just 20 minutes to the city) and great food in the restaurant/bar. Lovely staff as well, especially Charles, Freddy, the young woman serving us Breakfast and the bloke in the bar who recommended me a nice whiskey. Overall loved our stay!
