Amazing amazing place to stay, great views and lovely surroundings. To be critical I would say the actual bedrooms aren't quite as high a standard as the rest of the property, a little bland/dated however the bed was very comfortable and we slept well!
We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Balloan Cottage. It is a quiet country location but a very walkable 5-10 minutes to the square in Dornoch. The cottage bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and crisp like a high-end hotel and the living room and kitchen are warm and cozy with everything you could need. We used all the outside spaces and appreciated the fans in all the bedrooms with the warmer summer days. Thanks to Vicki - she is an excellent property manager.
An absolutely excellent bed and breakfast - from the warm welcome, to the high quality of accommodation, the beautiful setting and the delicious breakfast. Every possible care and attention has gone into making this place perfect for guests and it was number one on my trip round the NC500. I will be recommending it to friends and family.
